Valley Christian (San Jose, Calif.).

Jose Manzo in the first quarter, the Monarchs led 14-0 at the half.
Archbishop Mitty saw its 14-point halftime lead decrease to seven entering the fourth.
When the two teams played each other last season, AM came away with a 49-42 victory.
The defeat comes as a step back for Valley Christian, who notched a 21-0 victory over Sacred Heart Cathedral in its previous outing. The loss ended Valley Christian's three-game winning streak.
Valley Christian (3-2) goes up against Serra in a West Catholic game matchup next week, while Archbishop Mitty (5-0) locks horns with Sacred Heart Cathedral also in a West Catholic game.
