Varnum came tearing into Tuesday's contest with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 11.4 runs), and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the Strother Yellowjackets as they made off with a 22-6 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 12-0 back in March.

Varnum's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-5. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 18.8 runs over those games. As for Strother, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-12 record this season.

Varnum will challenge Okemah at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Whippets will need to watch out since the Panthers have now posted at least ten runs in their last three games. As for Strother, they will be playing at home against Butner at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
