On Saturday, Hanks earned a 39-32 win over Godley.
Hanks found their leader in underclassman Sebastian Meraz, who scored 11 points along with 7 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Eduardo Anchondo, who scored 4 points.
Hanks' victory bumped their record up to 5-6. As for Godley, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-4 record this season.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hanks will take on Fabens at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Fabens comes in still looking for their first win of the season. Godley will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Castleberry at 7:30 p.m. on December 12th.
