Glades Central's game  on Monday was a  loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them  on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Lake Worth Trojans as they made off with  a  19-9 win. The Raiders' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most  runs they've scored all season.
 D'Yami Meredith made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She  didn't allow a single  hit and  allowed only  one  earned run while striking out 12 over four innings pitched. Those  12  strikeouts gave  her a new career-high. She was also stellar in the batter's box,  getting on base  in four of her five plate appearances with four  stolen bases, three  runs,  and two  RBI.
 In other batting news,  Ny'Ajah Intervol was  incredible,  going 3-for-5 with five  stolen bases, four  runs,  and one  RBI. Those  three  hits gave  her a new career-high.  Malaysia McAllister also deserves some recognition as  she  scored her first  run of the season.
The  victory snapped Glades Central's losing streak at four games  and leaves them with a 4-9 record. As for Lake Worth,  they are  on  a  five-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 2-8.
 Coming up, Glades Central will welcome Clewiston  at 5:30  p.m.  on Thursday. The Tigers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 16.14  runs per game on average), something the Raiders will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Lake Worth, they will head out on the road to  challenge  Glades Day  at 5:00  p.m.  on Wednesday.
