Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Academy of Holy Angels). They blew past the Richfield Spartans 13-6 on Wednesday. The team's explosion at the plate also rewarded the Stars with their most commanding win of the season.

The win made it two in a row for Academy of Holy Angels and bumps their season record up to 5-1. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.0 runs over those games. As for Richfield, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 4-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Academy of Holy Angels will square off against DeLaSalle at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Stars are facing the Islanders at the right time seeing as the Islanders are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Richfield, they will take on Park Center/Columbia Heights/Maranatha at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
