Anthony Sarao, who played in the U.S. Army All-American Bowl, recently changed his verbal commitment from Stanford to the Cardinal's Pac-10 rival, USC, in light of Jim Harbaugh leaving to coach the San Francisco 49ers. Sarao is New Jersey's only prospect to commit to a Pac-10 program thus far.

Jack Tabb made his verbal commitment to North Carolina last Friday night, picking the Tar Heels over Iowa, Arkansas and Michigan. The 6-foot-4, 240-pound senior, who plans to major in broadcast journalism, caught 21 passes for 458 yards and five touchdowns last season. Kevin Monangai announced his plans to play for FCS power Villanova, choosing the Wildcats over offers from Central Michigan and Fordham. Rutgers and Boston College also showed interest but never offered the non-public power's all-time leading rusher, who completed his career with 4,486 yards and 69 touchdowns.
