Coventry had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the seven-run drubbing they dealt Cloverleaf on Tuesday. The Comets were the clear victors by an 11-4 margin over the Colts. The Comets haven't had any issues with the Colts recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive victory against them.

The win got Coventry back to even at 3-3. As for Cloverleaf, they dropped their record down to 3-9 with the loss, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season.
