Last Tuesday, The Habersham School had just enough and edged Faith Baptist Christian Academy out 38-36. The win made it back-to-back wins for The Habersham School.
The Habersham School can attribute much of their success to Myla Shippy, who scored 9 points along with 12 rebounds and 4 steals, and Camryn Hampton, who scored 8 points along with 8 steals and 5 rebounds. Shippy is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Gaby Kenard, who scored 6 points along with 7 rebounds.
Meanwhile, Frederica Academy had to kick off their season on the road on Tuesday, but they showed no ill effects. They claimed a resounding 46-13 win over West Nassau on the road.
The Habersham School is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season. As for Frederica Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 1-0.
