Blanco is 10-0 against Ingram Moore since January of 2018, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Blanco Panthers will head out on the road to take on the Ingram Moore Warriors at 6:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Blanco suffered their closest loss yet this season on Friday. They fell just short of Llano by a score of 33-30. Blanco has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Despite their defeat, Blanco saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Mina Broyles, who scored eight points along with six rebounds and five steals, was perhaps the best of all. Broyles is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Kate Capshaw, who scored nine points along with five rebounds and three steals.
After soaring to a 22-point win in their last game, Ingram Moore came back down to earth on Tuesday. They fell just short of Llano by a score of 24-21.
Blanco's loss dropped their record down to 12-16. As for Ingram Moore, they bumped their record down to 1-14 with that loss, which was their fourth straight at home.
Blanco strolled past Ingram Moore when the teams last played on January 5th by a score of 35-21. The rematch might be a little tougher for Blanco since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
