Rickards is 10-0 against Godby since February of 2019, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. The Rickards Raiders will be playing at home against the Godby Cougars at 7:30 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Rickards scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They blew past Chiles 78-35 on the road. The win was nothing new for Rickards as they're now sitting on seven straight.
Genesis Henry was her usual excellent self, scoring 18 points along with seven rebounds and three steals. Another player making a difference was Jariyah Jordan, who dropped a double-double on ten points and ten rebounds.
Godby posted their biggest victory since January 4th on Tuesday. They put the hurt on Leon with a sharp 56-31 victory. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Godby.
Rickards is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 15-4 record this season. As for Godby, their victory bumped their record up to 14-7.
Rickards took their win against Godby when the teams last played back in December of 2023 by a conclusive 49-27. With Rickards ahead 32-8 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.
