They took a 69-58 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Gilbertsville-Mt. Upton Raiders. One positive for the Spartans, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.
Gilbertsville-Mt. Upton's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Noah Pain, who posted 21 points and eight boards. Pain's evening made it seven games in a row in which he has scored at least 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kyle Keuhn, who scored 12 points and three steals.
Sharon Springs Central's loss dropped their record down to 1-12. As for Gilbertsville-Mt. Upton, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-11.
