The Poland Seminary Bulldogs will square off against the LaBrae Vikings at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Poland Seminary is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9.4 runs per game this season.
The home team had won the previous four meetings between Poland Seminary and Hubbard, and Poland Seminary kept the tradition alive. The Bulldogs came out on top against the Eagles by a score of 10-6 on Friday.
Madison Medvec spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned (and three unearned) runs on nine hits and racked up nine Ks. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't given up more than two walks in 11 consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Kylee Hudran was incredible, going 2-for-4 with seven RBI, one triple, and one run. Those seven RBI gave her a new career-high. Leanna Boccieri was another key player, going 2-for-4 with three runs.
Meanwhile, after soaring to ten runs the game before, LaBrae was a bit more limited in their game on Saturday. They lost 12-2 to Champion. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Vikings have suffered since April 1st.
LaBrae saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Shelby Bragg, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.
LaBrae has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 18-5 record this season. As for Poland Seminary, their victory bumped their record up to 12-9.
Fans could be in store for some top-tier slugging on Monday. Poland Seminary hasn't had any problems when it comes to power this season, having averaged 0.4 home runs per game. However, it's not like LaBrae struggles in that department as they've been averaging 0.6 home runs. With so much power on both teams, it'll be down to the pitchers to keep the mound locked down.
Poland Seminary came out on top in a nail-biter against LaBrae when the teams last played back in May of 2024, sneaking past 2-1. Do the Bulldogs have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Vikings turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
