The Jordan Red Jackets's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their fifth straight loss. They took a 68-60 hit to the loss column at the hands of Brookstone. While losing is never fun, Jordan can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 440th, while Brookstone is ranked 205th).
Thomas Henderson was the offensive standout of the matchup as he scored 20 points. Another player making a difference was Chapman Dykes, who scored 12 points.
Jordan's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Brookstone, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Jordan will take on Shaw at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Brookstone, they will head out on the road to face off against Columbus at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Columbus is coming into the game hot, having won their last three games.
