After soaring high against Hearts Academy last Friday, Icarus fell to the ground on Friday. Kings Way Christian School weren't too far behind, but the team still lost 24-28 to Praise Academy. Kings Way Christian School was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Praise Academy apparently hadn't forgotten their loss from the last time the teams met up.
The defeat dropped Kings Way Christian School's record to 1-1. The win bumped Praise Academy's record up to 3-0.
Kings Way Christian School will look to defend their home turf next week against Young Americans Christian at 7:30 PM. Praise Academy are packing up and heading on the road for the first time this season. They face off against Peachtree Academy next week at 7:30 PM.
