There's no place like home for Kettering, who bounced back after a  loss on the road  last Tuesday. They never let the South Lyon East Cougars onto the board and left with  a   1-0  victory  on Monday. The Captains' winning goal came courtesy of  Ryan Novack.
 Kettering pushed their record up to 13-3 with the  win, which was their sixth straight  at home. As for South Lyon East, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-4-3.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Kettering will face off against Milford at 7:00  p.m.  on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few  goals on average, (Kettering: 0.4, Milford: 0.3) so any  goals scored will be well earned. As for South Lyon East, they will challenge Walled Lake Western at 7:00  p.m.  on Wednesday.
