Rolesville's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Michael Downing, who scored 14 points, and Life Lynch who scored 13 points. Another player making a difference was Anthony Roberts, who scored eight points along with five rebounds.
Rolesville's defeat dropped their record down to 5-11. As for Leesville Road, their victory ended a six-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-9.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Rolesville will face off against Wake Forest at 7:45 p.m. on Friday. Wake Forest is on an eight-game streak of home losses, Rolesville a six-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck is about to change. As for Leesville Road, they will head out on the road to square off against Sanderson at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Sanderson is coming into the contest hot, having won their last four games.
