Make it ten blowout wins for the Eureka Vandals this season. They blew past McDermitt 63-28 on the road. Eureka's victory was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.
Despite the loss, McDermitt saw an underclassman step up: Shandon Camas scored eight points along with five rebounds and two blocks. Camas is on a roll when it comes to blocks, as he's now posted two or more in the last three games he's played.
Eureka pushed their record up to 14-0 with that win, which was their 11th straight on the road. They've been dominating during the contests in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 29.82 points. As for McDermitt, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost seven of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-12 record this season.
Eureka on the road again on Thursday and play against Carlin at 7:30 p.m. on January 25th. McDermitt won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Lund at 1:00 p.m. on January 20th.
