The Merrill Vandals will head out on the road to square off against the Vestaburg Wolverines at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Merrill will be strutting in after a win while Vestaburg will be coming in after a defeat.
Last Wednesday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Merrill beat Fulton 40-34. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Merrill.
Meanwhile, Vestaburg was just a bucket shy of victory on Wednesday and fell 28-27 to Coleman. Vestaburg has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Merrill pushed their record up to 9-8 with that win, which was their third straight at home. As for Vestaburg, their loss dropped their record down to 7-9.
Merrill lost to Vestaburg on the road by a decisive 44-30 margin in their previous meeting back in January. Can Merrill avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
