The Emmett Huskies will head out on the road to square off against the Bishop Kelly Knights at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Emmett is looking to tack on another W to their three-game streak on the road.
Last Thursday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Emmett beat Caldwell 40-35.
Emmett's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Natalie Goslin, who scored 20 points along with six rebounds. That makes it four consecutive games in which Goslin has scored at least a third of Emmett's points. Another player making a difference was Erin Hadley, who scored six points along with six rebounds and five steals.
Meanwhile, Bishop Kelly scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They breezed by Vallivue on the road to the tune of 72-26. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 45-21.
Emmett's record now sits at 7-9. As for Bishop Kelly, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season.
Emmett came up short against Bishop Kelly in their previous meeting back in December of 2023, falling 45-32. Can Emmett avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
