Graham had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They walked away with a 5-2 victory over the Holliday Eagles. Five seems to be a good number for the Steers as the squad scooped up a win with the same number of runs in their previous game.

Graham's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Holliday, their loss ended a 12-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 2-1.

Coming up, Graham will face off against Vernon at 12:15 p.m. on Thursday. Graham's pitching crew has only allowed 1.5 runs per game this season, so Vernon's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Holliday, they will challenge Ponder at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday.
