A Season-Best Performance from Aden Allsbrook Leads North Stanly over Union Academy
Aden Allsbrook produced his most outstanding game to date while leading North Stanly to the win on Friday. Allsbrook picked up four sacks, forced a fumble, and made 17 total tackles.
Unfortunately for Union Academy, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Allsbrook. Allsbrook made 17 total tackles the last time he and the Cardinals duked it out back in September of 2023.

Ricardson Posts Huge Game in 35-30 Loss
Kaleb Ricardson continued his hot streak on Friday by dropping his third-straight game with at least four passing touchdowns. He threw for 374 yards and five touchdowns while completing 78.1% of his passes.

David Wignot Turns in Season-Best Effort
David Wignot produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Lake Norman Charter to the win on Friday. Wignot threw for 139 yards and two touchdowns, and also rushed for 55 yards and a touchdown on only six carries. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, making four total tackles and defending a pass.
Wignot and Lake Norman Charter have the luxury of staying home for another week and will welcome North Stanly at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The last time Wignot took on the Comets, he rushed for 45 yards and two touchdowns, and also threw for 142 yards on ten of 22 attempts. Can he match (or beat) that performance?

Lake Norman Charter Wins Seventh-Straight Thanks to Major Leak
Lake Norman Charter picked up their seventh consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Major Leak. Nobody could stop Leak as he picked up 85 receiving yards and two touchdowns. He also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, making two total tackles and defending two passes in addition to snagging an interception which he returned one-yard for a touchdown.
SouthLake Christian Academy had to have seen this coming; the last time they saw Leak it was a similar story. Back in August of 2023 (the last time Leak saw the Eagles), he picked up 71 receiving yards and two touchdowns.

Jasiah Holt Turns in Another Game with at Least Two Receiving Touchdowns
On Friday, South Stanly had to settle for second even though Jasiah Holt put up the best numbers he has all season. Holt wasn't messing around, picking up 98 receiving yards and three touchdowns. The match was his third straight with two or more receiving touchdowns. He got the majority of those receiving yards when he pulled down a pass and took off for a gain of 61 yards.
On the season, Holt has caught 7 touchdowns while averaging 89.8 receiving yards per game.
