Christ's Church Academy has enjoyed a four-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will face off against the St. Johns Country Day Spartans at 7:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Christ's Church Academy will have to bring their A-game into this one,  as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Florida Rankings (they are ranked 713th, while the Spartans are ranked 342nd).
 Last Monday, Christ's Church Academy was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap  as they fell  58-52 to the Greyhounds.
 Despite the  loss, Christ's Church Academy got a solid performance out of   Jackson Hadden, who  dropped  a double-double on 28 points and 12  rebounds. Hadden has been hot recently, having posted nine or more  rebounds the last 18 times he's  played.  Jackson Olson was another key contributor,  scoring seven points.
 Meanwhile, St. Johns Country Day put the finishing touches on their 15th blowout victory of the season  on Wednesday. They blew past Cedar Creek Christian 80-27 at home. St. Johns Country Day is really starting to get used to good results now that the team's won 13 straight.
 St. Johns Country Day's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Erik Williams, who  dropped  a double-double on 16 points and ten  rebounds. It was the first time this season that  Williams  scored 15 or more points. The team also got some help courtesy of  Luke Holcomb, who  scored 15 points along with five  assists.
 Christ's Church Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 6-18. As for St. Johns Country Day, they pushed their record up to 20-3 with that  victory, which was their seventh straight  at home.
 Tuesday's  game is shaping up to be a masterclass in shooting:  Christ's Church Academy  have been dynamite from deep this season,  having  made 45.8% of their  threes per game. However, it's not like St. Johns Country Day struggles in that department as   they've  drained 40.7% of their  threes this season. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
 Christ's Church Academy might still be hurting after the  60-36 loss they got from the Spartans  when the teams last played  back in January. Can Christ's Church Academy avenge their  loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
