Elisea Wiegand was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out ten over five innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with one home run and five RBI. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in March.
In other batting news, Foothill let Rylee Vakulich and TatiAnna Seuasoukseng run wild. Vakulich went 2-for-3 with three runs, two RBI, and one double, while Seuasoukseng went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs and two RBI. Those two RBI gave Seuasoukseng a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Malia Webb, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI and one run.
Foothill always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .600. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Shasta only posted an OBP of .062.
