The Owasso Rams are ranked highly in their home state, and on Saturday they took on another highly ranked team in the form of the North Little Rock Charging Wildcats. Owasso walked away with a 71-59 victory over North Little Rock. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Owasso to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jax Kerr, who scored 20 points along with nine rebounds. The contest was Kerr's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Jalen Montonati was another key contributor, scoring 25 points.
Owasso's win bumped their record up to 5-1. As for North Little Rock, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-2.
Owasso and Union will face off at 8:00 p.m. on December 12th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. One thing working in Union's favor is that they have posted big point totals every time they've taken the court this season. North Little Rock and Fayetteville will face off at 3:30 p.m. on December 15th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Arkansas (Fayetteville is ranked fourth, while North Little Rock is ranked tenth).
