It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 81-26, which was the final score in Olean's tilt against Southwestern on Thursday. Olean was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 43-10.
Meanwhile, Dunkirk took a serious blow against Salamanca on Monday, falling 58-14. Dunkirk has not had much luck with Salamanca recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Olean's loss dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Dunkirk, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost 11 of their last 12 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-11 record this season.
Olean was taken down by Dunkirk 66-32 when the teams last played back in January. The contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point Olean was down 38-12.
