Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Prospect). They really took it to the Wheeling Wildcats for the full four quarters, racking up a 70-19 win. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Knights' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Illinois football rankings (they are ranked 35th, while the Wildcats are ranked 404th).

Prospect pushed their record up to 5-1 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season. Those home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 49.7 points this season. As for Wheeling, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Prospect is set to face off against their familiar foe Rolling Meadows at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Wheeling will square off against rival Elk Grove at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
