The Evansville North Huskies will head out to challenge the Vincennes Lincoln Alices at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
On Monday, Evansville North beat Boonville 5-1. The Huskies haven't had any issues with the Pioneers recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive win against them.
Jackson Ficklin looked comfortable as he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two hits in three consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Evansville North let Daniel Cranick and Mason Renfro run wild. Cranick went a perfect 3-for-3 with one stolen base and two RBI, while Renfro went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one run. Those two stolen bases gave Renfro a new career-high. Conner Watson also deserves some recognition as he hit his first triple of the season.
Meanwhile, Vincennes Lincoln made easy work of North Daviess on Friday and carried off an 11-2 victory. The Alices might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matchups by eight runs or more this season.
Justice Johnson tossed a big game, tossing five innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off six hits.
At the plate, Donta Henderson and Daniel Henderson did most of the damage at the plate: Donta went 2-for-3 with four RBI, while Daniel went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Gavin Kelso, who got on base in two of his four plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.
Vincennes Lincoln has been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-3 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.6 runs on average over those games. As for Evansville North, they pushed their record up to 12-4 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road.
