Forge Christian extended their winning streak  to eight  on Tuesday, bumping them up to 10-1. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Platte Valley Broncos  a   14-0 shutout. The Fury might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine matchups by seven  runs or more this season.
 Julianna Alfaro made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound,   not allowing a single  earned run while striking out seven over four innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  given up  a single  earned run in five consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box,  going 2-for-3 with three  runs, one  stolen base,  and two  RBI.
 In other batting news, Forge Christian got a  massive  performance out of  Vivian Stults, who  went 1-for-2 with two  runs, one  triple,  and one  stolen base. Stults is  on a roll when it comes to  stolen bases, as she's  now  snagged  at least one in each of the last six games she's  played. Another player making a difference was  Devyn Haines, who  went a perfect 3-for-3 with two  runs, one  double,  and one  RBI.
 Forge Christian  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 11  hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  got at least eight  hits in five consecutive  contests.
As for Platte Valley, they dropped their record down to 4-3 with the  defeat, which was their seventh straight  on the road dating back to last season. The  game marked the first time this year in which they were not able to get on the board.
 On Platte Valley's side, they saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Sydney Meyer, who  went 1-for-2 with one  stolen base.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Forge Christian will face off against Green Mountain at 4:30  p.m.  on Wednesday. As for Platte Valley, they will welcome Valley  at 4:00  p.m.  on Thursday.
