Maeser Prep Academy came tearing into Thursday's contest with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 18.7 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They were the clear victors by a 19-4 margin over the Merit Preparatory Academy Knights. The Lions might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six games by seven runs or more this season.

Deakyn Downie made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he pitched three innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit.
