Masterman suffered their closest loss yet this season on Tuesday. They fell just short of Prep Charter by a score of 43-40. Masterman was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Prep Charter apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in December of 2022.
Several Masterman players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Charlie Adams, who scored 15 points. Yuji Harrington was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with five rebounds and two blocks.
Masterman's loss was their 15th straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 1-8. As for Prep Charter, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 5-10.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Masterman will take on Nueva Esperanza at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday. Nueva Esperanza is coming into the contest on a five-game losing streak. As for Prep Charter, they will play host again and welcome Penn Treaty, where tip off is scheduled for 3:15 a.m. on Tuesday.
