The Pontiac Indians came tearing into Saturday's match with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 21.3 points) and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against Normal West by a score of 60-49.
Despite the loss, Normal West still got an impressive performance from Nate Moore, who scored 21 points along with two steals. Isaiah Robinson was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with six rebounds and two steals.
Pontiac has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 12-7 record this season. As for Normal West, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-16.
Pontiac will be playing in front of their home fans against Illinois Valley Central at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Illinois Valley Central knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past six matchups -- so hopefully Pontiac likes a good challenge. As for Normal West, they will head out on the road to take on Danville at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
