Wiley can attribute much of their success to Bo Arnold, who scored 18 points along with seven rebounds, and Rhett McDonald, who scored 15 points along with five rebounds and five steals. McDonald continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Joshua Barraza, who scored eight points along with two steals.
Walsh can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Manzanola 58-16 at home. That looming 58-16 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Walsh yet this season.
Wiley's victory bumped their record up to 3-5. As for Walsh, the win got them back to even at 4-4.
