Soccer Recap: Northwest Beats Lexington for Their Third Straight Win

Northwest waltzed into their game on Monday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They were the clear victors by a 7-1 margin over the Lexington Minutemen. Considering Northwest have won nine contests by more than two goals this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Their offense was hitting Lexington from everywhere, as six different players booted in a goal. Anna Keller led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.

Northwest's victory bumped their record up to 10-2. As for Lexington, their loss dropped their record down to 7-6.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Northwest is set to face off against their familiar foe Schuyler at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Lexington will challenge rival Kearney Catholic at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
