Things haven't been easy for Colonial Beach, and their game on Friday only extended their streak of losses to three. On Friday, they and Northumberland were almost perfectly matched up, but they suffered an agonizing 34-35 defeat. Things were expected to be close, but in this case the state rankings mixed up the winning team.
Colonial Beach's loss pushes them down to 3-4. Northumberland have yet to lose this season, and the victory brought them up to 7-0.
Colonial Beach will take on Lancaster at home at 7:00 PM next week. Both of those teams have had a rocky road up to this point with three consecutive losses apiece. As for Northumberland, they will go up against Mathews. Northumberland will be strutting in after a win while Mathews will be stumbling in from a loss.
