The Calvert Senecas will head out to challenge the Ross Little Giants at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Calvert is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.
On Thursday, Calvert made easy work of Lakota and carried off a 3-0 win.
One reason for the win was Calvert's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-12, 25-10.

Claire Schoenberger and Kate Coleman were among the main playmakers for Calvert as the former had ten digs and seven aces and the latter had four digs and four aces. Schoenberger has been hot, having posted two or more aces the last six times she's played. Bella Borgio also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.
They weren't the only good servers: Calvert was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 21 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least seven aces in 19 consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Ross, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Napoleon on Thursday as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The win continues a trend for the Little Giants in their matchups with the Wildcats: they've now won six in a row.
The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-7, 25-10.
Calvert better keep an eye on Brook Baacke. She was instrumental in Ross' win, getting six digs and three aces.
Calvert's record now sits at 21-0. As for Ross, their record is now 17-4.
Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of Monday's matchup: Calvert has really dialed in their serving this season, having averaged 13.2 aces per game. However, it's not like Ross struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 9.9 aces. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
Calvert came out on top in a nail-biter against Ross in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, sneaking past 3-2. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Senecas since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
