Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Piute). Everything went their way against the Pinnacle Panthers on Friday as the Piute Thunderbirds made off with an 82-56 victory. With the Thunderbirds ahead 48-25 at the half, the game was all but over already.

Piute's win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-6. As for Pinnacle, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-9.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Piute will host Panguitch at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Pinnacle, they will welcome Non Varsity Opponent at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
