Newfane gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They took down the Barker/Royalton-Hartland Bulls 34-15. The Panthers haven't had any issues with the Bulls recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Although Barker/Royalton-Hartland took the loss, they still got scores from Tysen McCaa and Joe Reiter.

Newfane wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 36-12 victory against Franklinville/Ellicottville on the 12th. As for Barker/Royalton-Hartland, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 28-10 win against Akron on the 12th.
