The Century Jaguars suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Wednesday. They had to suffer through a rough 78-49 loss at the hands of Forest Grove. Century has struggled against Forest Grove recently, as their contest on Wednesday was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.
Kami Carmean and Olivia Ervin certainly did their best on Wednesday to try and avoid the loss. Carmean scored 18 points, while Ervin dropped a double-double on 12 points and 14 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Ervin has scored all season.
Century's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 6-10. As for Forest Grove, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 15-1.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Century will take on Newberg at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Newberg is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak. Forest Grove won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Liberty at 7:15 p.m. on January 25th. Liberty is out to stop a three-game streak of losses at home.
