2A-2 Region III District 12 recap October 29, 2013
Corrigan-Camden extended the longest winning streak in 2A-2 Region III District 12 this week by beating Groveton, 39-14. The win marks eighth in a row for the the Bulldogs.
The Indians scaled the state rankings by moving to 758 from 804 this week, the biggest jump in the league. Groveton climbed the ranks as a result of falling to Corrigan-Camden 39-14.
Anderson-Shiro's offense cannot be tamed this season and the Fighting Owls feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. John McDonald has thrown for 632 yards and 7 touchdowns this season, while Derreck Sicola has 10 catches for 365 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Anderson-Shiro takes on Kevin Parker's team. As it stands, the Fighting Owls are in third, while the Indians are in fourth.
Deweyville led 2A-2 Region III District 12 in scoring this week after putting up 45 points on Hemphill.
