The Henrietta Bearcats's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their fifth straight loss. They took a 56-43 hit to the loss column at the hands of Jacksboro. While losing is never fun, Henrietta can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1101st, while Jacksboro is ranked 528th).
Leading Jacksboro to victory were Kylie Tullous and Hayden Walker. Tullous scored 21 points along with four steals, while Walker scored 26 points along with seven rebounds and six steals. Those 21 points set a new season-high mark for her.
Henrietta's loss was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 1-8. As for Jacksboro, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 8-9 record this season.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing City View the next time they take the court. Jacksboro will host City View at 6:15 p.m. on Friday, while Henrietta will head out to face them at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
