Softball Recap: Liberal Now 9-1 over Last Ten Games

Liberal won the last time they faced Archie and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Bulldogs blew past the Whirlwinds 18-1. Considering the Bulldogs have won 12 games by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Liberal is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.9 runs on average over those games. As for Archie, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Liberal will take on St. Mary's-Colgan at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Archie, they will head out to take on Windsor at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
