Edgewood's win on Friday was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Blair McPherson, who scored 23 points along with seven assists and seven rebounds. That makes it five consecutive games in which McPherson has scored at least a third of Edgewood's points. Kassidy Paul was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 17 points and 11 rebounds.
Edgewood has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 24-8 record this season. As for Grand Saline, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 16-13.
