Even though the Cranston West Falcons have not done well against the South Kingstown Rebels recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. Cranston West secured a 54-49 W over South Kingstown. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Cranston West.
Cranston West's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Alyssa Robinson led the charge by scoring 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Olivia Tedeschi-Moran, who scored 12 points along with six rebounds and three steals.
The win got Cranston West back to even at 2-2. As for South Kingstown, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-1.
Cranston West will be home for the holidays to greet La Salle Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for South Kingstown, they will head out on the road to face off against St. Raphael Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
