After having lost a blowout in their  previous game against Manheim Township, Ephrata was happy to have turned things around  on Monday. They came out on top against the Cocalico Eagles by a score of  3-1. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Mountaineers also won the last time the pair played  back in October of 2023.
 Ephrata was especially dominant in the fourth set. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-23, 18-25,  25-15.
 Leading Ephrata to victory were  Chloe Saylor and  Kierra Walters.  Saylor  had 15  digs and four  aces, while  Walters  had 11  digs. That's the most  aces  Saylor has posted  in her last seven  contests.
 The  win snapped Ephrata's losing streak at five games  and leaves them with a 9-14-4 record. As for Cocalico, they now  have a losing record at 6-7.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ephrata will challenge Cedar Crest at 7:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. As for Cocalico, they are on the road again  on Thursday to play Garden Spot at 7:00  p.m.
