The matchup was Owen's fifth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Logan Smith, who scored 8 points along with 6 rebounds and 3 blocks.
Liberty's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Crescent, their win bumped their record up to 1-3.
Liberty will square off against Spartanburg at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in South Carolina (Spartanburg is ranked 108th, while Liberty is ranked 84th). As for Crescent, they will head out on the road to face off against Belton-Honea Path at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
