Alleluia Community had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They blew past Trinity Christian, posting an 87-33 victory. The Angels' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Alleluia Community found their leader in sophomore Alley McBride, who posted 29 points. McBride has been hot for a while, having posted 15 or more points the last 13 times she's played. Another player making a difference was Reese Janik, who scored 15 points.
The win (which was Alleluia Community's third in a row) raised their record to 20-7. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 35.3 points. As for Trinity Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-11.
