They took a 67-61 hit to the loss column at the hands of Southland Christian. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as Bilingual Christian Academy & Tech came into the game with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 55th, while Southland Christian is ranked 270th).
It was another big night for Juan Rios, who scored 23 points along with five rebounds for Southland Christian. The match was Rios' third in a row with at least ten points. Michael Pellot was another key contributor, scoring five points along with five assists and three blocks.
Bilingual Christian Academy & Tech's defeat ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 19-4. As for Southland Christian, their victory was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 11-6.
