Make it nine blowout wins for the Southwest Onslow Stallions this season. Everything went their way against Wallace-Rose Hill on Thursday as Southwest Onslow made off with a 55-30 victory. The victory was just business as usual for Southwest Onslow, who after 16 games remain undefeated this season.
Yamorie Hardison was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 26 points and ten rebounds. Hardison is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Oriyanna Galloway, who scored 13 points along with seven steals.
Southwest Onslow's victory was their ninth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 16-0. As for Wallace-Rose Hill, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-11 record this season.
Southwest Onslow will be playing in front of their home fans against North Lenoir at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. North Lenoir will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps North Carolina Rankings (they are ranked 384th, while Southwest Onslow is ranked 31st). As for Wallace-Rose Hill, they will head out on the road to square off against South Lenoir at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
