While St. John's win against National Cathedral wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Cadets had just enough and edged out National Cathedral 1-0 on Friday. St. John's wouldn't have won without Kate Finch, who scored the game-winner.

St. John's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for National Cathedral, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. St. John's will take on Potomac School at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for National Cathedral, they are packing up and heading out for their first away game of the season: they will square off against Varsity Opponent at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
