The Harlem Huskies can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Saturday. They strolled past Lake Forest Academy with points to spare, taking the game 48-32. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Harlem also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2023.
Harlem had a senior duo take command as Trey Smith scored 13 points and Bo Beehler scored eight points along with eight rebounds and six assists. It was the first time this season that Beehler pulled down eight or more rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Mateo Perera, who scored nine points.
Harlem's victory bumped their record up to 9-17. As for Lake Forest Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 8-16.
Harlem and the Knights will face off at 7:15 p.m. on February 7th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Rockford Auburn is coming into the game hot, having won their last five games. As for Lake Forest Academy, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against the Knights at 6:00 p.m. Northridge knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past five matches -- so hopefully the Caxys like a good challenge.
